Description

I don't really know what to say about this...

my idea on this picture was to paint it dark and futuristic. it should schow, how the power gets sucked out of a human body.. but i didn't really think about it very clearly, it was rather painting without thinking much.

well, i'm not very satisfied with the finished picture, don't know why.. perhaps someone can give me any hints

the loose painting style is intentional, i consider this as finished... :)

Looks like a futuristic boxer getting ready for a fight. I'd darken the chest or lighten the shoulders a bit.

Well i think that if you wanted a futuristic look you made the focus place at the wrong place. (thats just an opinion) It's a nice painting but the focus is on the chest and the most human part of the body, maybe if u shined more the ''weapon'' in his hand and darken the chest a bit...

But i still think it's a great picture.

I agree, the chest area does seem a little too shiny.
The name at the top distracts my eye too. Apart from that I love the loose line work around the edges and the design of the weapon is spot on for me. Before I read your description I thought it was some kind of power absorbing device. Great image!

Very expressive.

The face could use a few more choice shadows to give the impression of something being there instead of just a flat, solid color.
